Browsing and your shopping bag
Your shopping bag is saved in your browser's local storage so it can remain available when you revisit using the same browser. This does not create an order. Our storefront hands your selected products and quantities to Shopify when you choose Secure checkout. Shopify then collects the contact, delivery and payment information needed to process your order.
If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share and use it to answer your request and provide customer service.
Hosting and external services
Our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which may include network identifiers and request logs. External fonts may make requests to the font provider. Links to maps or other websites are governed by those providers' privacy practices.
Your choices
You can clear your shopping bag through the bag controls or by clearing this site's browser storage. You can contact us with questions about information you have provided to our shop.
Current product information
When you browse our collection, your browser requests current product information directly from Shopify. Shopify may process your IP address and browser information to provide and protect this service.
Checkout and payments
Shopify provides checkout and order processing through our Bear Creek Candy Kitchen store. Our payment providers are Shopify Payments and PayPal. They process the payment and transaction information needed for the payment method you select. Please do not send card details to our shop by email.
Shipping your order
USPS and UPS are our selected shipping providers. To fulfill an order, we share the recipient name, delivery address and shipment information with the selected carrier. Contact details may also be used when needed for delivery updates or service.
Order information
We use contact, delivery and order details to process purchases, provide service, manage returns and maintain business records. Shopify, payment providers and shipping carriers handle information under their own privacy practices. Purchases are completed in Shopify checkout, where you can review the final order before paying.
